Note: The World Cup Professional Standard and Latin Championships are open to all Professional Competitors and the IDSF Grand Slam events are open to all Amateur competitors. The Open to the World American Professional Smooth & Rhythm Championships.The Open to the World Pro/Am Championships in Smooth, Rhythm, Standard, & Latin.

We are expecting some of the Worlds best dance sport competitors and are looking at over 40 countries participation.
Every night has spectacular Professional and Amateur events and you will see some of the worlds super dance stars this year at the Embassy Ball.
2008 Hotel Rates: $139 per night + tax. Please make sure and book your Hotel Rooms by August 1st, to qualify for this rate.
Please be advised: It is customary for studios, teachers & professionals to add a surcharge to the prices shown to compensate for the loss of income and teaching hours due to the attendance at the competition. These fees may vary and are encouraged and supported by the organizers of this competition.
Notice:
AS OF JULY 1, 2002 ALL AMATEURS WHO WISH TO COMPETE IN NDCA RECOGNIZED EVENTS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THE NDCA. WHEN REGISTERING WITH THE NDCA, AMATEURS WILL BE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE NDCA RULES DEFINING AMATEURS AND PROFESSIONALS AS PUBLISHED IN THE NDCA RULES & REGULATIONS, JANUARY 2002 EDITION.
HOWEVER, SINCE THE NDCA AND USABDA HAVE HAD DIFFERENCES IN THEIR DEFINITIONS OF WHAT CONSTITUTES AN AMATEUR COMPETITOR, A GRACE PERIOD OF SIX MONTHS WILL BE PUT INTO EFFECT FOR THE PERIOD OF JULY 1,2002
THROUGH DECEMBER 31,2002 TO ALLOW AMATEUR COMPETITORS TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE NDCA REGISTRATION.
DURING THIS GRACE PERIOD, THE NDCA WILL BE RE-EVALUATING THE DEFINITIONS OF PROFESSIONAL AND AMATEUR COMPETITORS, BEARING IN MIND THE NEEDS OF ALL AMATEUR COMPETITORS BOTH IN THE UNITED STATES AND ABROAD.
THIS EVALUATION WILL BE BASED ON INPUT FROM ALL PARTIES CONCERNED AND THE RESULTING GUIDELINES WILL BE BENEICIAL TO ALL.
